Almost forgot (and I never do) Peter's birthday. Popped in Stankonia for the first time in a good minute today. B.O.B comes through on my speakers, triggering an electrical signal targeted at the "Happy Birthday" spot in my brain.

Years back, Pete was a tour guide at the Holocaust Museum. He wanted the crew to come down one weekend to see him at his first official gig. Everyone flaked on him...but me. We rode down together that Saturday. He pops in Stankonia. It had just dropped. He asks if I'd heard it yet. I tell him no. He goes, "Well you'll like this one." -Track 11. B.O.B.- I about lost my effing mind. I bought the album the next day.

Conversations Out the Car Window reprise
So I'm stopped today at the Montrose/Richmond light. Bumping Outkast's 'Humble Mumble.' An old black dood has his window rolled down. Head nodding hard. He waves to get my attention. Head nodding hard. "Yeaaaah!" he says.
Damn straight, old man.
