Today was my first solo Birthright counseling gig & let me tell you, it was a TRIP! I counseled girls today who were my agE and who already had a couple of kids, not to mention a "baby`s daddy."

(*rolls eyes - mAn, I hate that term & the fact that it has a DEFINITION in our society)

I`m not about to front and say that there aren`t wonderful mothers out there at age 20. I know this. But speaking for myself: Knowing how much I love living and experiencing young life, today has made me wonder what those girls could be doing with their lives today had they waited. What would they have made of themselves and how much BETTER would they be have been able to care for their children?
