"I have such a cute boyfriend." 
(Comment to Raven via cellphone while music browsing w/ Paolo at Best Buy on Friday night). It is true that Raven & I made a vow of sorts to say "No" to boys this weekend. But really, how can you say no to this face? Or to those unplugged headphones? You simply can't. 
Hence, on Friday night, we watched Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog on DVD at my house w/ Paolo & Fernando. Omigod, that shit is hilarifrikkenlarious, even after seeing it three times over the summer. It will be mine one glorious day.
Saturday I went w/ Paolo to his audio engineering lab & was impressed out of my corduroy trouser pants.

On another tip:
Ozomatli's going to be playing at the Houston International Fest today, and I'm not going to be there. Sad face times 3. :( :( :(. I believe the country theme this year is India. Diamond's actually going to be belly dancing again. She will tell me how awesome they were when I see her today. Aw, add another sad face to that. :(.
Ah well. There are other things to look forward to this summer:
-Mr. Lif & the Perceptionists are going to be up in Austin a few days after graduation, and there is no way I'm missing out on that. I'm not a huge Mr. Lif fan myself, but I like the Perceptionists' new one alright. Plus, I've never been to a hip-hop show in Austin. I hear the hip-hop scene there's pretty on point. See, Texas isn't completely hopeless...
-Rooooad Trrrriiip! My bro & his fam are going on a road trip to Canada in June & invited me along. They're going to head up through the West Coast. My dad said it'd be cool if I took a few pals along in his car. Dopeness. Whitey would be cursing me in German all the way there if I tried to take him.
