Setting up the new store yesterday was quite the experience. I think my new crew and I are going to get along famously. My female coworkers apparently like to tell me how pretty they think I am. Telling from the reps of many Starbucks employees, I'm not sure how famously I'd like to get along w/ the lot of them. ...If yahknowwhatimean...

Today is Friends and Family Day. It's essentially going to be one, big free-drinking, charity-donating, Starbuckian comrade mixer. The managers from around the area will work the bar, while us baristas do the meet 'n greet. I invited all my peoples. I'd better be meeting 'n greeting your asses today

Spring 2006...?

That blarmy bastard. So my Senior Thesis reader #1 is back from Ireland and is in the process of reading my stuff today. Last day to register for my Teaching Certification Program is Monday. This means (given that he APPROVES my thesis) I'll have to request my final transcript tomorrow, pick it up Friday, and (hopefully) register for classes. If any of these factors gets dropped from play, I've got to wait till the Spring to start my certifcation. While this won't be the end of the world by any means, I've been a little bummed...
