[Currently Rocking]: Newly d/l'ed Louis XIV, Franz Ferdinand, Keane, The Killers. I'm way excited about the first two specifically. They've got a very raucus, raunchy sound that I enjoy muchly. I discovered Louis XIV at last Sunday's trip to Soundwaves w/ Mr. P. They have an interesting album cover.

One day, I'm going to go to class wearing a Britney Spears tee-shirt and carrying a Wal-Mart bag. Then I'm going to respond to one of Lowery's questions while eating a steak and prefacing my answer with a (false) declaration that I voted straight ticket Republican in October. In one fell swoop, I will offend all of their pretentious sensibilities. Maybe some of them will run out of the auditorium crying...and maybe some of them will admit to voting Republican. Maybe one of them will wrestle me for the steak. Hipsters always look hungry.

Went to the Philosophy Honor Society meeting in Ahern. They talked about all kinds of bullshit. All I wanted to know was how to get my damned honor cords. Turns out I have to complete anohter volunteer activity. Looks like I'll be making a dinner for a family of 6. One of the philosophy adjunct profs has a 2 lb premie & 3 rowdy little boys & could use some help. On my way out I grabbed an application form for the History Honor Society. I guess I'm a little pretentious too. I loves me some beefy resumes & graduation honor cords.

Then I went over to Paolo's, and ate one of the cookies Claudia baked. Then Paolo & I dropped by the chapel. Then a breakthru! *smiles* ...Yah, I had to put it in writing.

In the pm:
-Dropped by my dad's new shop so my mom could show me around the digs. It's looking better & better.
-Hung out w/ Crystal & Diamond, respectively. They're such interesting individuals. I could talk to them forever.
-Had dinner with a sad & beaten Paolo. He had work scheduling problems between his two Walgreen's locations. He wound up working a 12 hour day with an 11pm quitting time and a math test in the morning. But he pulled through and did oh so awesomely.
