She returns...

I noticed that I only update this thing when I shouldn't be. Two cheers for Certified Starbucks Baristas! Hip Hip.... She's now officially qualified to eff up your drink orders. I can't find my driver's license anydamnwhere. Sucks to have fat checks and no way to cash them. It's mighty weird not being a college kid anymore. I'm still in adjustment mode. I'm in like, another dimension. Where do all the 22 year old college grads go until their 30th birthdays? Maybe they're hiding from me or off chillaxing on the undisclosed 22 year old college grad island in the Pacific that I didn't get the memo on. Every twenty-something I know is in school or permanently employed. Someone adjust with me, damnit... Jeez...I can't believe I'm going to be a teacher soon. I'm used to being on the other side of the desk. I feel kinda cool about feeling cool about open-ended plans for the future. This is all so shiny and new for me. I typically like having things written in stone from jumpstreet, but this is neat too - seeing where life takes me. Maybe doors will open with my teaching gig, and I'll end up going to grad school for education. Maybe doors will open on the more political tip (education policy), and I'll reapply to the programs I was accepted into and others. Maybe isn't so bad... I purchased a hot pair of all-black, suede Campus Adidas for Starbucks. ...and by the way, I do look way hot in a green apron, and after this recent purchase, even more so. Muaha. Muahaha. Don't you hate it when you conjure up a checklist of totally cool things to do over the summer during the school year and then, come fall, your entire list remains unchecked? I do.
Off to work I go. Then off to play with Paolo's friends.
I'll update more...
